This tool converts written text into natural-sounding speech. It's ideal for creating audio versions of your subtitle files, voice-overs, or for language learning purposes.

This tool uses the Microsoft Azure Speech Service. You must provide your own Azure Speech API Key and Region to generate audio. Your credentials are stored securely in your browser's local storage and are not sent to our servers.

If you upload an SRT file, the tool will intelligently create a separate audio clip for each individual subtitle entry (e.g., each line or sentence). You can play and listen to each audio segment individually, or generate a single audio file for the entire text.

Yes. You can choose from a list of available voices (which includes different genders and languages like English and Chinese), and you can also adjust the speech rate (speed) and pitch to your liking before generating the audio.

Yes, your data remains private. Microsoft states that they do not use your data for training or other purposes. Your API key is stored only in your browser's local storage and is not transmitted to our servers.

The generated audio is provided in a standard MP3 format, which is widely compatible and easy to use across various devices and platforms.

While there isn't a strict character limit imposed by this tool, very long texts or SRT files with many entries will take longer to process and generate audio. Azure Speech Service itself has its own usage limits based on your subscription tier.
